It definately puts out UV so kudos there. Made my room smell very strongly and I fear it might have been ozone. I reccomend you research what health impacts UV lights can have and contact the seller if unsure.

This is simply a light which makes fluorescent items glow in the dark; it is not in any way dangerous and is not the same as other type of UV lamps used to in fly killers which attract insects because of the ultraviolet light. Nor is it the UV used in Sun-Tan lamps or in Germicidal lamps. The buyer is totally ignorant of the use and function and the physics concerning uv light.
