The yellow iPod Touch 5 (5th Generation model) is a portable audio player that was originally released by Apple in 2012. This apple device features a 6-mm ultrathin design that will make it easier to carry with you wherever you go. The 4-inch multi-touch retina display gives you access to your music and video collection in an easy to read and understand manner. The A5 chip allows for faster processing speed, and it features the Apple iOS. Unlike past iPods, the iPod Touch is both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 enabled, which means you do not have to connect via computer to download your music and videos from the Apple store. You can also go shopping in the Apple store with your iPod Touch. The touch screen provides easy access to iTunes and the App Store, as well as Siri, iMessage, FaceTime, Game Center, e-mail, and the Safari web browser. This iPod also features a camera, which allows you to take quality 1080p HD videos and the 5-megapixel iSight camera delivers good quality photos. Just as with many smart phones, this device makes picture taking and video recording as easy as pointing the camera and shooting your film. It also has a flash, which allows you to take low-light pictures and videos with ease. With the option of choosing 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of flash memory, you can take as many videos and pictures as you need and not worry about running out of space for your chosen memories. When you do, the USB connection to a computer gives you the ability to clear out your iPod’s memory and start fresh. The boxed 5th generation yellow iPod Touch comes with accessories, including an iPod Touch loop, which is sold separately for the 16gb model, Apple EarPods (headphones), lightning to USB cable and a quick start guide. This device also comes in a variety of colors, including white and silver, yellow, black and slate, blue, pink, and space gray. Other accessories, including Bluetooth speakers, different headphone types, and case covers are available for purchase separately. The cover will help keep your electronics safe, depending on the conditions. You can also find accessories that make carrying your device easier and less likely to be dropped. You will need an Apple ID for some features, so check to be sure you have one. You will also need internet access, which is easy to do with the built-in Wi-Fi. To sync your audio on iTunes on a Mac or PC, you will need the Mac OS X v10.6.8 or later, Windows Vista, XP Home or Professional, or Windows 7. You will also need iTunes 10.7 or later, but this is a free download from the Apple store. Not only does the iPod touch deliver quality sound and functionality, but it also embodies Apple’s environmental progress. It will reduce the environmental impact by using these built-in features: a mercury-free LED-backlit display, arsenic-free glass, is free from brominated flame retardant and PVCs, and a recyclable aluminum enclosure.
