Beautiful workmanship! While the Tote did not fit onto my “Made in USA” Stanley No. 4 (due to it’s “lesser expensive type” screws and base) it proved to be an easy fit onto my “Made in England” Stanley No. 10 1/2 Plane after 2 ever so light 1/2” pairing gouge slices on the bottom backside hole for the casting screw. This is a fine plane but it came with a black plastic Tote. Now it finally has a fittingly fine Tote & Knob set. Thanks also for your expedient email replies to my queries Michael.
