Players take control of a treasure hunter who is marooned on a danger-filled desert island and is forced to search for his missing girlfriend in Twisted Lands: Shadow Town. Gamers explore an island filled with shipwrecked boats and abandoned buildings, all the while collecting snake statues, solving inventory puzzles, and grabbing hidden items in order to discover the island's mysteries.<br><br>Each of the hidden-object scenes contains a dozen items, and a variety of mini-games are used to further the narrative, and players who get lost can select both "Action" and "Direction" hints for help. This version of the game also includes three extra titles: "Mystery Cruise," "Quest of Fate," and the bonus chapter "Behind the Reflection."
