Item arrives new and is clearly designed as an adult collectible and display piece. I don't know that it would hold up to strenuous play from a child. Head, arms, and legs are poseable and not removable. Tail is used for balance. Excellent likeness of character from original Transformers cartoon. A great value for G1 collectors wanting to flesh out their roster. Looks great paired with their Skuxxoid figure!
