Even though the 6-layers are compressed together, the material is thinner than expected, but it's light-weight and doesn't take up much storage space. It's a little short for my 2008 NC Miata, but that's ok because I dislike car covers that touch the ground. The inside felt seemed a bit thin, but it slid over the black paint without issue. The tie straps are string. I'm using spring C-clamps instead because it's much easier and holds better.
