Packaged with Coleco's Expansion Module #2, Turbo is a racing game that takes you over city, country, and mountain roads. As you cruise along the course, negotiating turns and speeding down straightaways, you should avoid oil slicks, cars, and ambulances. Dangerous seaside road curves, narrow street borders, and icy highways conspire to make the racing action all the more difficult.<br><br>For every car you pass, your point total increases and you get that much closer to extended play. Every time you reach an extended play, the point value for passing a car increases by 10. When a car passes your vehicle, points are taken away. For every 30 cars you pass, you get more time added to the clock and two more crashes. The game ends only when you run out of time or when you crash twice during a single extended play. Turbo is a one-player game in which you can choose from four difficulty levels. In the easiest level of play, you are given unlimited crashes.<br><br>Expansion Module #2 is a steering wheel and accelerator foot pedal that turns the ColecoVision control stick into a two-speed gearshift. Push up on the stick for low gear and down for high gear and higher speeds. Pressing the gas pedal increases your speed while releasing it lowers your speed.
