Lightening Force: Quest for the Darkstar is a video game and the second entry into the Thunder Force series for the Sega Genesis gaming system. The classic video game features a side scrolling first person shooter perspective and is played over ten stages. Each futuristic stage is uniquely themed and has both a mini boss and a main boss creature that must be defeated in order to advance in the game. Players can collect different weapons and power ups to enhance the game play. The game itself is rare since it is played on the now discontinued Sega Genesis gaming system.
