The ornament stand is just as described/photographed: classic gold, sturdy and with a mirrored base. It's in very good condition, and I should know since I already have four of them and have gifted two more. I thought the shipping was a bit high, but seller did an excellent job protecting an awkwardly shaped item that required a fairly big box. A smooth transaction all around and I'm happy to recommend this seller.
