- 1***l (1867)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThis is a remarkably refined piece by a formidable potter. The deep carving is exquisitely executed, uniform in depth and height. Then the brown tones she summons from the blackware warm and gentle its bright shine. This is fine work, for sure. Simplicity perfectly balances the large carved forms and bold central motif. A pot that’s typical of the masterpieces this seller has always on offer. Chosen with incomparable taste by a seller who has seen a thing or two! Another great treat! Thank you!!
- 1***l (1867)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThis is a wonderful example of Minnie Vigil’s classic work. The design of clouds, rain and sun are quite familiar, but the luminous deep red color ignite a different impression. That red makes a statement that can’t be ignored! Another fine piece from an absolutely dependable seller, whose magic in finding top pieces is matched only by his expertise in explaining their fine points. His site is a delight. Something for many tastes, so long as they’re highly refined. I’m lucky to have found him!!
- 1***l (1867)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseAn extremely attractive small seed pot by an accomplished potter whose sensibilities for depicting animals are well known. This piece doesn’t disappoint, conveying intriguing but contradictory information in a simple, spare design. The bird, who at first looks central, is abruptly upstaged by the enormous and impressive insect grasped in its beak. The poor bug seems about to be dinner, but then its sheer bulk and lively demeanor challenge that outcome. An amusing mystery! From a superb seller!!
