It's a quality nib like most Pelikan products, and it screws right in to vintage 120 and 140 models (note that this doesn't fit the later Merz and Krell 120, since that was made by a different manufacturer and had different threads). It was a great price to get a different writing experience out of the same pen, and I'm very happy with it! Copied from my previous feedback, as the experience was almost identical.
