It has a small hitch in the pan feature, but the for/aft swing and resistance adjustment are perfect. I understand new these often need to be cleaned of sticky grease. I pulled the pan lock screw expecting to see an ugly rough end typical of these, but it was either a later model or someone had already pulled and filed it down!!! It did exhibit the sticky grease on the threads, but will be fine for heavier lens combos. AAA+++ GREAT BUY!!!
