- a***i (696)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseModern Lionel "Celebration Series" car was sold as new and it clearly was new. Had all the paperwork and a great box. It was shipped quickly, and was well protected from crushing. These modern freight cars are readily found on eBay, but they always seem to have issues. This car was exactly what I wanted - a new boxed version of this car.
- k***m (1100)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseWasn’t what I thought I’d would be. Should have researched it more. Silly me, I envisioned this to be a self-powered car. Secondly, it has “retreads” (like a rubberized ring) to provide traction. I needed two 027 gauge engines to pull this car showing the drag that this car imposes. Unless I’m doing something wrong, the whole process of cleaning is messy..the cleaning fluid was all over the place…the internal hoses may be old/brittle. Probably wouldn’t have purchased if I knew this beforehand.
