My parents who are gone now had used copies of these knives, and I ended up with the copies which I really liked, but the wood had started to fail so I used Google image search and these popped up and I was quite happy to see there was a genuine type of this knife and that it was high quality Japanese. So happy to have replacements that are the real thing.
