The laptop I purchased was sold as NEW but there were a lot of signs that it was an open box item that also had some performance glitches. The inner packaging was sloppy, not Apple like, there were already 2 cycles on the battery and when I tried to resolve issues with the seller I was accused of being dishonest. I then returned the laptop and they withheld 15% from the refund. Thankfully I had a lot of evidence supporting my case so eBay resolved the case in my favor
