The Nintendo SNES Grey Stationary System (PAL) follows the original NES system and precedes Nintendo 64. Super Nintendo Entertainment System is an upgrade over the original system with the controller featuring eight-way d-pad. The Nintendo SNES system utilizes cartridges and allows for two players without the aid of an adapter. The Super Nintendo Entertainment System features enhanced graphics, advanced audio quality, and compelling gameplay in addition to a library of classic Nintendo games. Enhancement chips in this game console are also developed to keep up with the fierce market competition. Nintendo SNES is a 16-bit system that keeps its popularity and momentum well into the releases and life spans of 32-bit systems. This game console runs a Nintendo 5A22 processor based on a 65c816 core. The RAM capacity is 128 KB and the Video RAM storage is 64 KB. To add functionality to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, different peripherals are also released, including Super GameBoy, Super Scope (Light gun), SNES Mouse, and Super Multitap.
