It wasn't packaged appropriately for shipping, but was placed in a flat bubble mailer envelope -- one layer of padding from shocks or forces during shipping, and no rigid protection from bending. The item was listed as "Used ... may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended." On inspection, it required disassembly and resoldering of a broken wire.
