The part is used to attach to the spare tire to hold it up under the vehicle with a cable and winch system. The holes in the part do not align with the lug bolts on the tire! Instead of sending it back I modified it by drilling new holes in the correct locations and welding the nuts over the new holes. This is a genuine part from the manufacture of the vehicle so there is no reason why it didn't fit properly.
