Quick tip, if you turn it on and get a black screen, it may be that your TV does not show the low resolution it started in. I had to switch to another TV, to finally view the screen, change resolution to common 1080p, and then switch to the other TV. Problem is it defaults to 576i which is not American standard. Once you correct, the dvd player is pretty good!

It looks new without any scratches. It overall a good dvd player if you want to use this for playing random dvds from different countries.

I opened the cover and repaired the button panel with super glue n toothpicks. No biggie....may consider...some cushioning across this panel when packing. There was no evident handling abuse to the package....the button panel is quite fragile.
