It is a trim kit for a cabinet mounted stainless steel microwave. I knew it was all made of plastic before ordering. It is supposed appear to be stainless steel, but for my taste it is a bit too shiny and not a brushed steel look. But it was made to fit my microwave, no other choice. However, the seller was very efficient, shipped it quickly, and was received within a week. Happy w/service!
