The shoes had the smell too, but it came out with Lysol spray. The condition matched the seller’s pictures and looked brand new. After wearing them for one day, a small piece of the sole had lifted. My husband fixed them w/a small amt. of super glue which seems to have worked. For $58 and using a little super glue, I’m satisfied w/the purchase. These shoes retail for $140 which makes this a great deal.
