Was protected very well with both anti-static and multiple bubble-wrap layers, and there was no dirt or debris on the pads or thermal grease remnants on the IHS. As indicated, part was not vendor locked. No issues after install and MemTest+Xfer+Scrub runs. Despite the age of the part, should be a good upgrade for my aging AIO data server.
