This freight car is very nice. It has a few typical broken plastic pieces but I can make replacement parts for it if I need to. I bought several Atlas O #70-38 scale electro-couplers and am putting them on my 3rd Rail steam and a couple of my best Lionel Legacy models. I wish Atlas would reissue these couplers.

The boxcar came looking like new but there were a lot of plastic pieces in a baggie that had come loose. Some of the pieces of plastic would crumble (like zinc rot in die cast) But the over all appearance is great. I will make replacement pieces if it bothers me but right now, it doesn't. This is a good layout model.
