Good quality kettle has been in use for a couple of months now. Russell Hobbs 1.7 litre, open handle. Boils fast, not too noisy, pours without dripping, has a scale filter inside the spout. From previous purchases of this model I know that it will last a long time in heavy use. None of the problems of smelling or leaking that I have had with plastic kettles.
