Good upgrade LED lighting for model train engines. These are small and shaped to fit into tight installations and are available in packs with different lengths for specific needs. I keep all three lengths on hand, since they are reasonably priced and work in many applications. They are also bright so are more realistic than incandescent bulbs, and will not burn out when installed with recommended resistors. More than three volts could destroy LEDs.
