The airlift seat height adjustment is a superior system. The seat has built in relief for tailbone and lower back which makes it the most comfortable throne I’ve used to date.
I have used another drum throne that had a height adjustment that utilized a threaded seat post that would slip during performance and leave you short of your optimal height setting. The split seat has two separate seat cushions that does not give the much needed support and leaves those areas of the lower back hanging.
