More than that though it is a very worn ex-library copy, pages are pulling away from the binding, heavy discoloration of page edges, front free endpaper was cut out of the book, large withdrawn stamp on front page. This condition seems more akin to "Acceptable" than "Very Good." Price was not high so it is not an issue of being over-charged, just perhaps inaccurate description of quality.
