Seller Notes: “These gears came out of a mechanical computer, where the two shafts intersect together at an ... “These gears came out of a mechanical computer, where the two shafts intersect together at an approximate 80° angle. Please look at the second picture and you will see the true miter angle of the gears. The first picture shows them at 90°. Technically, they should be used at an 80° angle but for some thing very slow with low power or hand crank power these would work just fine at 90° and still transmit motion. That’s why they are being sold for parts only and have a much lower price than the other sets that we sell.”
