The Oring groove on the carb float bowl fits is larger in diameter than the new gasket that fits in it. After installing the new gasket, it will swell slightly by design to completely fill the Oring groove in the float bowl. If the gasket is removed after installation, simply allow the gasket to sit overnight in open air and it will return to its original shape.
