I was thrilled again to receive another amazing Robert C. Smith 1949 hand-colored limited edition etching from this fantastic seller! This piece is a true proof, as evidenced by how the plate was placed on the paper- the deckling of the paper on the left side, so close to the edge of the image. As a printmaker myself, I have done this- how I know it is a true “proof.” This was the third piece I have acquired from this seller, and I expect there will be more. I love this artist, and this seller!!

I didn’t need to own this- but I wanted it! And this wonderful little antique-conceptual toy arrived in perfect condition, as the packaging was bullet-proof, the shipping was great, and it was exactly as described in the seller’s ad! This will be a an important little piece in my collection of extraordinary things! It is of exceptional value to me; hand-crafted from beautifully grained hard wood. And, by-the-way, this is one of my favorite sellers- I’m sure we will do more business again soon!

Again, I am exceptionally pleased to have acquired from this wonderful seller, a fabulous pencil drawing by Robert C. Smith. This very fine example of Smith’s astonishing draftsmanship is memorialized in this very unusual yet informational rendering of what appears to be the hood of a lamp, circa WWII, illustrating great details of an electrical device. This piece is rare and unusual, and not for all, but for those who understand this image, as I do. Bravo to this seller! Perfect in every way!

Thank you for your kind feedback. Sorry I misidentified it as a helmet- that's what I thought it was!
