    The new locking gas cap did not work when I first tried it.... and several more times. I kept playing with it but no success. Finally with the white end down, I hit it HARD on the cement. I tried it on the truck and it worked.

    I drive our Silverado 2500 Diesel truck seven days a week and even though I get good mileage, I fill up every three days. I have had this locking gas cap for almost two months and have had no problems. Good product if you might have a problem with vandalism, (which I had causing the tank to be removed and the filter housing to be replaced). This cap is inexpensive compared to the repair cost for us of $1400+.
