This is a very nice and informative book. It appears to be a history of the Bureau of Reclamation and the government’s to supply power and irrigation water to the West at cost. It does give some technical data about the dams, canals, and power plants involved. There is also mention of the Hanford Nuclear Facility and the Salt River Basin Project, which might now be separate entity. It does mention the controversial Navajo Steam Plant. It is not an overly technical book.
