Dell offers a support contract after completing the transfer ownership form. However at $190 it only covers software and no hardware. So for recovery I went with my own backup solution (Hint: Storagecraft/Arcserv) at a lower cost and security.

I contacted the seller, and he was very fast to respond to the problem. I decided to return the item. The refund was within days. When I initiated a return, the seller reached out and offered to ship a replacement item. After I returned the original item, it took a few extra days for the seller to ship the replacement laptop. The replacement laptop was very good and working very well. Highly recommend this seller due to the fact that they owned the problem when things didn't go as expected and resolved the issue.
