    I took a video of myself with my partner opening my returned key remote in its packaging so there could be no question I have done anything to it and it did not work. Called seller who told me I had to install it to code it. I said I cannot gain access to the vehicle as locked hence repair. Altogether for me a waste of precious time and money and my original remote has now gone forever.

    Your key has been refurbished and tested after repair. Synchronisation is required if key fob does not work straight away. In order to do it you need to access the vehicle. You have confirmed that it was not possible for you to enter into the car, because you parked the car next to the fence and you cant get into it. We have done our job as per advertisement.     Not the cheapest but get what you pay for. 48 hr from post and return. 100% working as it should and new look. Will be sending my second freelander2 remote for the same refurbish. Highly recomended.
