Bass rosin - what this is supposed to be - is stickier than rosin for violin or cello. Real rosin is like the other fiddle rosin in scent and source, but it is softer even when cold. In contrast, this is like well-chewed bubblegum that has been mixed with silicone. It does not stick to horse hair. Other than as a paperweight, it is useless. It is a milky greenish color.
