Half the thickness of the factory seal, fuel cap will come loose by itself due to vibration and waves junk would not recommend . factory part is seven dollars with free shipping on most sites do yourself a favor and buy that .

I'm sorry you were not happy, these are not half the thickness and we have sold hundreds of these this year and this is the first complaint. I also run it on all 4 of my yamahas.We do offer returns if you want to send it back
