Binding has minimal wear. The majority of pages are undamaged with minimal creasing or tearing, minimal pencil underlining of text, no highlighting of text, no writing in margins. No missing pages.

I've followed the manufacturer's recommendation to brew a few throw-away cups of coffee before brewing a cup to drink, but I've done practice brews 4-5 times and the musty dusty smell that arises from the pot can be smelled in another room. it's def not like my first moka pot that I bought this to replace.
