Upon closer inspection however, each end of the bellows has a design deviation from the made in U.S. OEM part (#21682348) that makes it unreliable against water intrusion. The transom plate end requires a larger molded sealing bead; the pivot helmet end requires a molded "V" shape to fit tightly (this part has a flat sealing edge).
