Reviews
"Intense, edgy, and impossible to put down." --CJ Redwine, author of the Defiance series "A power ballad of dark and light, glitter and ruin, love and hate." --Heidy White, for MystGrrl Review "SUGAR SKULLS ripped me out of comfortable and boring, and threw me headfirst into a world unlike anything I've ever read about. Both main characters are intense and charismatic, the thriller bits are enthralling, and the romance will have you fanning yourself just a little. The only scary part is how close this could be to the future." --Susan Adrian, author of Tunnel Vision "An electrifying chorus of sex, drugs, and rock and roll, with an undercurrent of darkness that cuts through the glittering facade of Cyrene. It will rip your heart out, rock your face off, and leave you eager for an encore." --Chloe Palka, for Fangirlish.com

Synopsis
Welcome to Cyrene, a city where energy is currency and music is the lifeblood of its young citizens. Everyone lives on the grid, and the residents of the world's largest playground are encouraged to pursue every physical and emotional pleasure imaginable. Vee is the lead singer of the Sugar Skulls, an all-girl band that is Corporate's newest pet project. Micah haunts the city like a ghost after an overdose of a deadly illegal street drug knocks him off the grid. When Micah and Vee forge an immediate, undeniable connection, their troubled worlds collide. Trading concert stages for Cyrene's rooftops and back alleys, they have to evade vicious thugs and Vee's possessive manager as they unravel the mysteries connected to their dark pasts. And before the curtain falls, Micah and Vee will bring the city to its knees in their desperate bid for love, home, and a future together.

- 6***9 (107)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseBuyer beware! I bought a tpb from this seller that was listed as brand new at an amazing price with free shipping so I was stoked! Then the item arrived..As a collector, condition means a lot esp when I’m sold brand new. For a collectable, this was the worst packaging I’ve come across in awhile. The entire book was bent, forming a U shape. Besides that, the front and back cover are creased in several places. Asked for a return and sent photos, got offered a dollar refund instead.
