Across the Blue Mountains comprises tracks recorded live in concert, from a single performance in the historic Andrew Carnegie Free Library and Music Hall in Carnegie, just outside of Pittsburgh, Pa. Traditional tunes, songs and unaccompanied ballads from southern Appalachia and the British Isles. This CD has been edited minimally, leaving in a bit of applause and audience noise, as well as the many imperfections of a live performance.
