- r***c (52)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThis book is like new, and it has many great historic pictures with descriptions and explanations. The Southern Pacific is now gone, but some of what is shown in this book can still be seen, including the magnificent Tehachapi Loop, which I viewed two years ago. Excellent reading for anyone interested in railroads.
- r***c (52)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseOutstanding photographs of logging railroads plus descriptions and comments and some quotations from people at the scene. Great history! Almost like being there. A few pages were missing; but it's a used book, and the price was right. So I'm still happy.
