- l***o (571)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseReceived and this is a reproduction and not a true original from the civil war. The Rosette is made out of tin (you can bend it easily ) with fresh soldering on the back. All the rosettes I have bought for the civil war period are originals and heavy brass or metal not a one is made out of tin. This would break off a horse bridal in a second. I know because I have horses. No wonder it was sold cheap and the discripton was false and marked original. Pictures hard to tell the metal.
