It fit snugly into the center of the microscope's stage. While it is quite light, it is sturdy and once placed in the stage seems quite strong. It adds good value to my microscope and will now enable me to make use of it much more effectively without having to spend a hundred dollars to get a metal stage . Thank you for your help.
