However, when sending heavy brass objects through USPS, the flimsy wrapping was insignificant, and the box was slightly cut open. Luckily, I was home to receive the package otherwise, if the delivery guy had dropped it over the metal gate, falling seven feet to the ground, the bookends would have broken.
