The hair is shiny. It did not tangle during the washing process. I noticed 4 strands after washing was complete, so I will say those were probable lose hairs. I think the unit was worth the $. There was a discount so that was a plus. Not sure if I am in love with the 7x5. Installing today. So far it gets an A. It’s a good looking wig.
