Unlikely to have been due to sudden stress during transit/shipping and instead seems like it was just that the plate/frame was kept in such a position over a long period of time. Quality was less than desirable, but that was clearly shown in the listing image so it was expected. Price was very affordable, but part was subpar. The packaging was solid. Thanks.
