My mechanic installed the abs module but could not install the software as his laptop kept "crashing" .GM tech support advised my mechanic that most likely because his programmer is new it might be too fast for the module(2008 model) i drove the car (with no abs)to a gm dealer for the software download and it worked (only charged half hour labour).this worked out cheaper than having the dealer($170 an hour)do the install as well. I contacted the seller for a question and he responded quickly
