The acrylic base is too thick. When installed it makes the horn edges bulge up a little and causes the bulge area to go a little white like material does when it is stressed. But, it is very pretty and so very close to the original. I need to figure out how to thin it out to fit properly. Also, it has a facet edge around the surface where the originals were rounded. This is nice because, if you know what you are looking at, you will not be fooled into thinking its original.
