On offer is this antique leather covered silk lined needlework box. Please see below to for many more photographs. Measuring approximately 11" long, 3" high, 10" wide This is a fabulous antique box, lots of character. The leather has been overlaid with a heavy metalwork in gothic scrolls design, the handle made of the same and is hinged and can lay flat. To the center a cartouche of jet stone. The lining is of silk, the silk ribbon end is missing. No major scuffs, I believe it would 'polish to perfection' if you prefer your antiques that way. Please see the photographs below for the little marks it has.”
