Thank you for your feedback. We will look into adding a list of possible ways and locations to connect the layard in future orders. There are many ways to use the lanyard. Some example may be, you can tie your trigger guard lanyard to a belt loop, the inside of a bag, or your pants. For sturdy functioning, you should tie the lanyard to something sturdy
